  • Personal Music player for the Deaf

Like the rest of the world, the Deaf community enjoys music.  But, rather than hearing the sound, they feel the vibrations. This usually means that experiencing music, means experiencing it very loudly. The required noise level does not work with personal music players. My design addresses this: it creates 'visualizations' of the music on the skin through gentle electrical stimulations. The music player is in the form of a small wristband, and the stimulations are conducted to the skin through graphite which is brushed on for the day through personalized stencils.
